The bohemian city of Prague, capital of the Czech Republic, with its scenery of gothic spires and narrow cobbled streets, is the perfect venue for your luxury city break or vacation in the heart of Europe. It offers many entertainment and cultural experiences, including National and Municipal Museums and Galleries.
Prague's most familiar monument, Charles Bridge, the 13th-century home to kitsch souvenir sellers, connects the Old Town with the Mala Strana at the foot of the castle.
Another famous monument, Prague Castle, is almost like a small town itself. It is the largest ancient castle in the world (570m long and on average 128m wide). It is also where the Czech kings, Holy Roman Emperors and presidents of the Czech Republic used to have their offices. It is not surprising that this is the most visited tourist attraction in Prague.
The Vltava river winds through the heart of the city and is a popular attraction for visitors with its sightseeing cruises.
Here we present you with all the information you will need to plan your luxury trip to Prague.
Prague hopes to welcome you soon.
The Golden Lane in Prague Castle will be open again on 1st June 2011. This short street takes its name from the goldsmiths who went to live there in the 17th century.
